(56k) VA Beach car show (mostly Porsches)...
Check back on this first page later, I’ll have all the links to the larger images up!
Went to a car show over in Virginia Beach yesterday, had a great time. It wasn’t the biggest show out there but it’s probably one of the best ones I’ve ever gone to. Unlike a lot of shows, this one was mostly older car guys there so it wasn’t a lot of egos, everyone was very friendly and approachable. A lot of times at shows with mostly kids, everyone stays in their little group and doesn’t really talk to anyone else. I met so many people here, everyone had the same passion, and being that it was a lot of folks that lived in the same neighborhood there was a strong sense of community. As you can see it was mostly Porsches (not a bad thing at all) but there were a lot of other different cars out there too.
We first stopped at Sam’s house, really cool guy that helped set up a lot of the stuff for the show. We hung out for a while and watched as cars started lining the whole street, met the owners, etc. After a while we got the call to line up and cruise through the neighborhood to the field in the very back where the show and BBQ were at.
Most of these little pictures are from before the show just lined up on the street. Underneath the images there are larger pictures and a lot of different angles, interior shots, etc. in case you wanted to check one out in detail. I’ve got 100+ pictures so bare with me on getting them all up.

Very nice Aprilia bike, talked to the owner for a minute and he was really cool. He mentioned selling it, not sure why or what he’s looking at getting next though.

Matt (blah)’s M shoe.

His name escapes me but he lived across the street from Sam and helped out a lot with the show and everything. This bike was very interesting, a WWII bike with a sidecar. It was actually in the Indiana Jones movie. He had some info posted around it at the show, telling it’s history and everything.

First 997 I’ve seen in person. I didn’t have an opportunity to meet the owner of it though. I’m still not sure which I prefer, the 996 or the 997, either one is great. I believe he took 1st in late model and best of show too.

Scott (Divexxtreme)’s 996TT, beautiful car. He’s the nicest guy you’ll ever talk to, good meeting you! He also took 2nd place in the late model category.
