Default n/a runs like turbo lol......

i have a gsr in my hatch and my problem is that it runs like it has turbo lag because i have to wait for the motor to have power at times i'm pretty sure that i have a clogged fuel filter or its something to do with fuel problems but i would just like to know if anyone would have any other ideas my timing is perfect i have a new ignition assembly, main relay, and my distributor is new ignitor,rotor,coil, ect...and i also have new spark plugs....any ideas thanks

timing is ok......could it be my spark plug wires or iacv......other symtoms: rpm drops real low after rev but when car warms up idles perfect.....

are you sure both cam and electrical timing are right? how did you check?

shop checked for me.......unless their wrong ill try check it again thanks everyone for your help

41 psi with walbro fuel pump,aem fuel rail/regulator.....dyno tuned with that pressure and field controller lean on controller and rich on regulater it ran fine with that set up for over a year.....

I doubt its your fuel filter, but if it hasn't been changed in a while, its not a bad idea. have you kept up with routine maintenance (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc..)?

whole distributor is new because friend had it lying around and let me use it and spark plugs are new but spark plug wires are kind of old and i heard those usually don't last two years so maybe i should change it and see what happens...

Have you looked at your FITV located under your throttle body? If not, do a search through the archives on how to adjust it once it has been in a while and you will be amazed at the difference it can make in your exact eratic idle situation.

if your car idles fine after its warmed up its not your IACV its your fast idle

i brought my car to the shop and turns out one of the wires that was hooked up to my msd coil to ignitor didn't have any current running threw so they replaced that but after couple minutes of driving similar problems happend so i looked under the hood and turns out the distributor cap was loose so i tightened it and seems to be running find hopfully thanks for everyone that tried to help me
