QUick question about Coolant Gauge in your car CLuster... WHere does it sit when you reach operating

Default QUick question about Coolant Gauge in your car CLuster... WHere does it sit when you reach operating

WHen i am at operating temp. my gauge is 1/2 way. i can see a little bit of the sybol below the needle. Where does yours sit when it reaches operating temp? thanks alot. stupid question but it will help me alot!! thanks

where its supposed to sit, right in the middle just like you discribed.

mine sits about a quarter way up... maybe a little more, but definitely not in the middle... maybe if i sit at a red light for a little while it does move a little, but as soon as i start moving again, it goes back down. hmm... oh well... going to get a real guage with numbers not hot and cold... well one of these days anyway.

it should be higher than 1/4 of the way up... it should be more towards the middle as stated above... maybe you have the wrong thermostat in there... just might be something you want to check out
