Default Anybody Having Problems With There Power Windows???

My window is driving me crazy. When i go to put it down , it like sticks for a split second and then goes down. Sometimes it shakes when i move it up and down, like its loose on the track. Its not very smooth like my pass. side. It rattles a lil too. Also when i go to put it up all the way, it has to push its self out at the top to close and seal. Any suggestions? Am i gonna have to tear my door apart. Please tell me no!

ahh the going slow normally happens to mine when it is cold(has happened to all of my power window cars in the winter) as for the skipping thing, my friend has a ford and his does that, they really did no understand what was wrong with it, took it apart and looked at it a few times......

mine was doing the same thing on my pass. side. It got worse and worse and would barely go up. then one day leaving school i went to put the window down and it just fell all the way down off the track. I had to take the door apart and put it back on the track. Some of the parts in there were rubbing and i guess that slowed it from going up. Sry but you will probably have to take the door apart and mess with it.

well what year is your teg? In the DCs there is a screw or two in the door jam and a screw in the inside door handle thing. Just look around and you should find the screws and then it all screws on and off. It was just a pain in the *** putting it back on the track and stuff.

you should be able to get to the window by taking the interior door panel off, well that is how i did it with my old civic, the door panel is held on with a couple of screws and a few clips, take the screws out, take out the switches on the door and gently pry the door panel off, you may have to remove the door speaker to get it to come off.

you dont have to take the skin off that would be just crazy... my homie window fell off the track in his si. you should have enough room to do what you got to do, as for your problem i think its you combo thing, the track and the weather strip.

I have a similar problem. The driver side window hauls *** down for about a second, then sticks. I need to put the window up and down about 10 times before I can order f-ing taco or something. I took the door panel off, messed around for a while and realized that I should just take it someone who knows what they are doing.
