about Hondata S300

i got a 97 ITR & i am planning to convert to S300, just wonder is that i have to change the distribuitor as well?? what ECU i should get?? i did some reserach but it is really confusing me??? anyone did that before??? just wanna to make sure all the things before i buy it!

thanks for ur infromations but i found on Hondata it wrote P28,P30,P72,P61 ECUs configured to run non-VTEC, so what does it means???

Those codes are each for a different Honda ECU, with each one (P28 is one, P30 is another, etc.) representing a different non-VTEC ECU. Just call up Hondata, it sounds like you need some very specific instructions.

i found a P28 & the guy told me it came out from an auto JDM EJ couple SOHC VTEC but the ECU is in rectangle, do u guys think it can fit my car??? (need answer as soon as possible) thanks

s300 will not work with a jdm ecu

just get a regular p28 from a civic si, your running hondata on it anyways

you can turn that off with any chipped ecu

Locashracing is an authorized Hondata Dealer. He can get you just a P28 ECU or the entire S300 system.

I agree on the 2nd part. But you CAN use a p05, it just requires one more part soldered in to convert it to 4wire o2.

You can tune it yourself, if you know what you are doing. The S300 downloads the ROM through a USB cable so changes can be made and saved on your ECU, almost instantly. The tuner does not have to be a Hondata dealer if they understand how the system works.
