i heard the exmag is pretty quiet or the WS my self i have the greddy evo 2 it's only loud on WOT and when secondaries open on my GSR. and if you searched right there should have been like 38294712984782934 topics exactly like this

It'll make 2-3 to the wheels peak power, but it'll help out mid-range probably more like 5-7 hp. You want better power throughout the entire powerband, rather than just peak power.
My Greddy SP2 is real quiet, I bet with an actual stock cat it would be even more quiet. My cat is basically a resonator.
