Fuel Cut-Off of a ITR 2000 USDM ?
Hi.
I need to know the STOCK Fuel Cut-Off of a Integra Type R UDSM that came from the DEALER, I don't wanna Hear Chiped ECU. Some Stupid fools on Montrealracing.com are Saying it's 9100 to 9200 RPM. In fact I had my self a EG with a B18C5 Engine and it was like 8500 RPM.
Who's right?

it is in the search... but fuel cut off is at 8500 RPM.
However my stock guage is pretty inaccurate and indicates over 9 grand.

Yup. So it depends on whether they're asking what the tach reads when you hit the rev limiter, or what the actual engine revs are when you hit the rev limiter. Both numbers are correct, depending on what the question is.

Alright I had a EG CX 93 so i didn't have a tach in the cluster, But a have a monster tach with a shift light, and maybe it was more accurate, cause it was right on the 8.5k bar.
has anyone try with a aftermarket tach in a ITR... and compare both RPM meter ?
the stock itr tach is off by ~500 rpm in the upper portion...
stock rev limiter is 8600 that i've recorded with a vafc on many occations.
This looks like 9k indicated on the stock tach.
-hth

well, technically they are right on 90% of the ITR's.
they were probably telling you what the fuel cut off would be indicated on the tach...in case you were the stupid fool, instead of them
