Well as luck would have it i was in a rush today and was backing out my drive way and stopped and went to get out of my car.Forgetting my wheel was turned all the way(no ebrake) and the car was still in reverse. Let go of the clutch and CRACK. It dies.Istart it and go to put it in gear.Grrrrrrrind Like what the expletive!!!!! Put it in first let the clutch go...Scccccrape and its not moving while in gear. Open hood and see my pass axel spinning when the car should be moving..........What could that be? Broken Diff.????? I HATE MY LIFE!!!!!!

 

busted all the splines on your outboard CV..

If the axle is spinning but the car isnt moving, sounds like the axle splines or CV is bad as Outsane said.

Check the hub and see if the axle is spinning freely in it.

 

When I put the car in gear I can let go of the clutch and get out of the car. Looked at the passenger axel and its just spins....

 

It's your axle.

 

Yea it took the cv boot apart and the bearing race was TOAST....... Will post pics in the a.m.

 

i have no ebrake ethier and its sucks.not trying to be the *******,but u should have knowen that was going to happen.

 

Well when you in a hurry you dont think...And I shouldnt have broken that easy...
