Alright, so I have a 1997 ITR and am posting this question i here is because its common for 94-97 owners to do the 98-01 front end conversion on their cars.

well, the previous owner had performed the 98+ front end conversion on my car including front bumper, rear bumper, and taillights. As winter is approaching, im planning on restoring my ITR's exterior to its true 97 form, but just had a couple questions.

1) are 94-97 fenders the same as a 98-01???

2) along with getting the bumper, im obviously going to need new headlights, and most used 94-97 headlights are done for. is there another "cheaper" alternative to OEM headlights in aftermarket form. I dont want halos or anything like that, just want OEM quality and style.

Fenders are the same.
Try looking for headlights that could buffed back to life.

yeah, thanks, i figured that they were the same. I suppose i could always trade headlights with a fellow member on here

Looks like the previous did a number on that fron end trying to make it look better.
GL on the restoration, i like 97ITRs!

 

you also will need the bumper lights as well. these you can pick up pretty cheap.

im going to wait until i can get the car in the garage once the snow starts falling and i can whip out the winter beater.

im sure you will see a bunch of exterior parts on my car up for sale this winter including both front and rear bumpers, headlights, taillights, wing, and CF hood because everything is 98+ and its all going back to 97 body style, and ill sell it cheap

 

interested on all parts wiling to trade fronts, also have cf hood and the tail ligths.

Im talking about shiny, no scratches.

$100 shipped.

Or trade with ur headlights, if they are OEM.

I'll buy ur tailights also.

yeah, you're right about the bumper. it is one of those replacement ones, its not OEM Acura. ill consider the headlights once i get everything straigtened out. I just meant to ask some questions and am getting pm'ed like crazy on trades!!
