dc5 low beam headlights
has anyone had problems with their low beams just blowing out all or a sudden. I Changed the headilght like a month a go with silverstar's then the other night we drove some where turned the car off and ate and went to leave andthe headlights blew any ideas or other people with this problem thanks
when u put in new ones, are/were you touching the bulb lense at all? even the smallest piece of dirt can cause lower lifetime of a bulb.
if your having problems getting silverstars or other aftermarket bulbs to work, keep the factory bulbs to save yourself the trouble.
maybe dc5s are known to have bulb issues? who knows, check out http://www.clubrsx.com and see what they got to say

This is kinda related but I have the same problem. I have StreetGlow Xenon White H1's on my 02 RSX Type S and I have been noticing that my low beams usually burn out pretty quickly (i'm talking like 3-4 weeks, sometimes longer). I make sure that i swab them with alcohol before i put them in, even making sure not to touch anything. The setup on the RSX is pretty hard to access without having to pull out the whole headlight assembly. It pisses me off quite often!
yea u gotta go wit oem bulbs...ur silver stars will blow out every month...i got a good deal on silverstars and bought like 6 pairs...i had to change them every month...somewhere on clubrsx theres a thread saying that the wattage or something is off..therefore causeing them to blow...just stay wit oem...or get HID's!!!
