Ok, me and my homeboys went out to a party last night and we all went in his car [silver DC], at some point in time while we're in the party, someone decides to break into his car and steal his cd player/ head unit/ radio [u get the point], ne way we're all bumbed out about his car and all but then I realized....."O ****!!!. I left my keys in the backseat!!" They stole his radio AND they stole my damn key cluster which had the keys to my civic, altima, storage unit, and most importantly, my alarm clicker. Now I have called Honda and making a new key is no prob., but I just dont know how I'm gonna get in the car [need registration in order to get key made] without having the alarm go off for hours. And then once I have the key, how in the hell do I start the car, my alarm system has a kill switch!

So to my HT brethren, I ask you ALL for help. Please, no info is unimportant.

 

Contact the installer of the alarm!

(don't expect a lot of answers due to people not wanting to give out alarm information that may be used by thieves)

that sucks. now i dont know anything about alarms but you could break into your car and just cut the alarm switch right. im sure that would screw you over with the kill switch but just throwing out an ignorant suggestion.

 

I just came back from Honda Parts dept. and he said that he needs the person that the car is registered to [my dad, who now lives in Florida] to fax their photo i.d. to him in order to cut a new key. I also looked for a valet switch so that once I DO get the key, I can override the kill switch and start the car.Needless to say, my search was unsuccessful .
