Default Bypassing 96 CIVIC COUPE ENGINE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM/purchasing new kit.

Does anyone know how to get pass the 1996 honda civic coupe engine immobilizer system? There is supposed to be a code that must be read of the key, but it doesnt work anymore. I was told to replace the entire unit, I need to know if there is anywhere but the company that has this kit.Recoding the key isnt working.

I have no clue.... I always thought pre 2001 Civics didn't have chips in the keys.

My 97 Ex doesn't, it has keyless entry but not immoblizer

It doesn't have an immobilizer. If you are talking about a stupid starter disable, then take the stupid thing out completely. They have too high of a failure rate.
