he some dumb expletive put a short shifter in my car now it radiles. what do i do to fix the prob thanx

 

can you be more specific?

 

depending on what shifter you have , there is several washers that go in between the bearings and the linkage. my guess is they did not put those in , therefore it has slack from side to side , and yes it will rattle. buy a sk2 dual bend and be happy! ( As stated above give a little more info )

 

i would see if its hitting the exhaust and check the bolts that hold the shifter in
