Rattling noise from engine bay..throw out bearing????
when i push the clutch down it goes away and when i realse it its rattles ..i hate it it bugs me...im pretty sure its the bearing....so i might jus get a new clutch kit anyway its about time i did....can anyone verify that maybe the throw out bearing is making the noise?
what kind of car? do you have hydraulic or cable clutch, its def the t.o. bearing but the reason i say this is bc ive seen shift forks on hydraulics get worn, the bearing not seating right and causing vibration..meaning you need a new shift fork not the bearing, but if its cable your most likely need a bearing ive also seen the sleeves on the side of the bearing bend and break,, when i change a clutch i always change the shift fork as well on both cable and hydraulic
