97 GSR Clutch Question.
ok so well the clutch in my 97 gsr is shot i believe, its got 120k miles. so i was thinking about buying a exedy O.E replacement/Stage 1 clutch and a FIDANZA/exedy lightened flywheel. is this setup going to be alright for my GSR it dosent have much done to it; just header/cat/exhuast/intake/VAFC...that really is it i mean i plan on putting more money into later on down the road but i highly doubt im going to need a clutch for a supercharged/turbocharged application. should i just spend the money on a stage1 or a stage 2 clutch? also is the flywheel needed; my friend had a centerforce dual fritcion with a lightened flywheel(he cant remember what brand it was).
what do you guys think would be a good setup(im open to any brand)? this car is daily driven, alot of highway usage, and i goto the track every now and then so i need something that grabs.
How many pound flywheel should i buy the ones around 8ish pounds or the ones that a littler heavier at 12ish lbs?
(i use to have SPEC Stage 2 clutch in my cavalier z24 and i loved that clutch, a little to rough for the road but it grabbed like hell on for a stock car.)

i just put a "compitition clutch" street disc w/ pressure plate and a "compitition clutch" 10 pound flywheel and i am very pleased with the results, it grips awesome and it does not have a harsh engagement so daily driving is a little nicer. i payed somewhere around $700 for both.
