non JDM DOHC ZC's

ok....well a guy tried to rip my off by trying to sell me a olive top ZC painted black. Or at least i think it is an olive top ZC. Are there and USDM ZC's and what are their HP ratings? thanks

I'm pretty sure the olive top are from the 86-89 Teg's, I think they are 120 hp or something like that.

No, there were no USDM ZCs. Japan has the ZC and Europe has the d16a8/a9. The US got the olive top ZC which is the d16a1. Check the block stamp and see what code is on there. That will tell you what motor you have.

the 88-89 Integra motor is only rated at 113HP also. The Hybrid site has lists of most of the motors. The mounts are different too. The ZC can have the Integra OR the Civic mounts depending on the car it came from. THey are easy to spot the differences,besides the engine code should eliminate doubt. Any idiot can repaint the Valve cover, but few idiots will restamp a motor.
