alright, so i have a 90 Teg LS, and apparently it has a 94 LS engine in it, but i was never able to check. can someone either give me a way to find the serial number on the engine or a pic of the differences between the two engines? any help would be appreciated.

 

Just look at the engine code right in front to the left of the exhaust mani,
I think 90-93 B18a and 94+ B18b but i could be wrong I have a B18a in a 90 Ls

 

If you check your Engine Identifying Numbe(EIN) There should be an imprinted number so to speak on there. If it says B18a1 then you got yourself the 90-93 integra LS engine. If it says B18b1, then that is the DC(94+) LS engine.

 

^^that and check the head right above the header. there should be four circles with some numbers...the first number is the year of the head...which is most a match to your block...
