E-brake
Ok heres the thing i need to adjust the ebrake on my 90 crx si...I already tightened up the inside one but still no work...How do you adjust the outside ones? Searched but couldnt find....
Make sure rear brakes are properly adjusted before you do this...
1. Rear wheels off the ground
2. Pull parking brake lever up one "notch"
3. Tighten the equalizer adjusting nut (nut in the middle) until rear wheels drag slightly when turned.
4. Release brake lever and check that the rear wheels do not drag when turned.
5. With the equalizer properly adjusted, the rear brakes should be fully applied when the parking brake lever is pulled up 6-10 clicks.
...hope that helps

I don't know...I'm looking at a Helms manual and it doesn't say anything about that. I was wondering the same thing when I did this myself. It seems that they had a little bit of slack in them. Do these cables just get stretched and need to be replaced?

First off you should never have to adjust the outside bolts, second you should really never even have to adjust the inside either ( yes there are times you do but usually you don't ). If the parking brake is not working, your rear brakes are probably shot, take of the drum and inspect them.
bump... this is happening to me I have new calipers, pads, rotors, and new e-brake cables and it still doesnt lock the wheels... heard somewhere that maybe my break lever (the one you pull on inside the car) is fucked up any pointers?

If the brake pads are good, you should never have to adjust it because there is enough thickness on the pads. They adjust themselfs basically, specially when it comes to disc brakes.
