Default What Internals?

I have an h22a and am wanting to upgrade all the internals, but have some questions.

1. I want to use the type-s pistons any mods need to be done?
2. I want to upgrade the valvetrain but dont know many good companys.
3. If I have all this work done should I have the shop p/p the head?
4. Do I have to up grade my cams right away, because that alot more money.

Any help would be great, I'm still pretty new to the internals of an engine.

Answers:

1: Nope

2: crower, skunk2, jun, ferra, supertech.......

3. Sure go for it.

4. You DON"T HAVE to do anything.....but since you're upgrading the valvetrain, thats a great start. Because with good cams you'll have to anyway. Save up your money then go for it. Stay AWAY FROM OBX!!! I DON"T CARE HOW CHEAP THEY ARE - YOU"LL PAY!

I don't know - but you won't really see/feel a difference until you get the cams in there. Or a bigger bore on your cylinders.

we arent a shop, therefore we cant price your work...

call up a shop to price it

you will need h22a4 rods to run type s pistons....or get your h22a1 or h22a rods rebushed...

if you dont do cams now, you will be kicking yourself in the *** later bc you have to do another timing belt....
