ok guys, currently i have a 92cx that runs solid 13's, howver even as light as it is, i need a better platform. i bought an 87si today for a few hundred dollars, and want to start teh transformation. anyone in here have one with a bseries motor or know of a good website describing it? my hsopping list currently includes(besides the motor)
custom axles
wring harness
engine mount kit
*shift linkage
ecu
am i missing anything?

 

check out www.darksol.com he's got an EG2 running 12.9 N/A. Go to that website then click on showcase. He has all the mods listed. It should be even easier to run those times in a crx since they're lighter

 

if you have the money for it, go for it man!
most any b-series engine can be thrown into that rex. HASPORT makes custom mounts for the b16a. SCC a few months ago did an article on the whole swap.

if your poor like me, an 87 teg motor will bolt up with the axles, knuckles, and hubs, and the teg tranny mount.

if you have a little more money, but not enough for a b16a, find yourself an olive top ZC

like 135 hp, no headaches, and moderate aftermarket support

look into it a little.. do some research

 

i dotn care about davids eg2, it is nice however, how far off topic was that?

yea no ****, i should plant the seeds to my money tree right now. so far im leaning towards a stragith b20 with a b16 tranny. maybe throw in soem sick crowers and a 60 shot, jsut to start it off. i think i can have teh motor in the car and running for right around 2k
