I wanted to know why most aftermarket shocks list that they will not fit on a Prelude SH. I just bought an SH two months ago. I took the car to a lift and found out that they had some Tokico HP Series shocks. Now, from what I see that they were able to be installed. What is the reasoning behind them saying they don't fit?

 

I would like to know also, it is so difficlult to find good shocks that fit the SH.

 

You can use any shocks for SH as long you replace the springs. Basically you can't use OEM SH springs with those aftermarket shocks.

i never knew the reason for that either....i always thought it was something about the different suspension parts...
