i have a map sensor problem.. after i got off the dyno i went home and the check engine light was on.. the car runs fine and drives normal. but here the problem. 1st gear ill pull it up to 7500-8500rpms the car is fine but when i get in to 2nd gear when i hit about 7500rpms the check light will pop on. and it feels like my fuel is cutting off like i have a limiter or something. wont let me get any higher den about 8k rpms. so i shut it off and turn it back on and the check light is off. but it throws a code 3 check engine light.(map sensor)only does it in 2nd,3rd,4th,5th. but the check engine light wont come on in first gear......

i tried changing the map sensor. but nothing ....
yes i do have a chipped ecu that goes pass 8krpms..
i changed the ecu and still nothing..

anybody that knows whats wrong would help thanks...
this car is a obd0 b series, can the cause of this be from running rich???
can a vtec controller affect this??
so my problem is check engine light only goes on when i pull it pass 7500 in 2nd gear and up.. thanks in advances if anybody knows ...
