Roots type supercharger........
just got a new s2k hyper rev mag today and found this company....
Distinto Bellezza...
they had a s2k w/ a roots type blower on it.......
the roots type blower should give the s2k more low end grunt, but i dont know how it would do @ 9k rpms.......
just curious if anyone has seen it, or heard about it......

It really wont do a hell of a lot at the top end...youll notice a difference but the bottom end is where the "roots type" supercharger comes in to play. I have 3 friends who have all gone the supercharger route, their all using a jrsc w/ hondata. Good setup
to bad jackson racing does not make a s/c for the s2k....
i would try one.....
it would be nice to make some power on the lower end.......
i like the comptech/vortech...... just wish they made a little more power on the bottom end......
that's why there are turbo kits i guess

or you could always take the money that you plan on using for f/i and just stroke it. around the same price all said and done.
Ogura makes a Roots kit for the S2000, but I don't see anywhere that sells it. Jackson Racing is no longer in business; Oscar retired a couple years back. I talked to his head technician at the place, now called D's Automotive, and he still installs the blower kit, and tunes Hondata.
let me rephrase that for you so that it's more correct.

rpm is rpm. doesn't matter what size engine you have.
put a supercharger on a I4 and a V8. 5000 rpm (to the superchager) is the same for both engines, assuming identical pulley sizes.
