clutch install gone bad, please help . . . =/

Default clutch install gone bad, please help . . . =/

Alright i put in a new stage one clutch today, well, i backed it out of the shop, pulled down the drive way, seemed fine, but i pulledo nto the road and right befor i was going to change to second gear it popped, and bam im not going anywhere, its switched gears fine, but when i let the clutch out nothing happens, yet the clutch is moving fine, i bled the clutch, still nothing . . . . any ideas?

check to make sure your axle(s) didn't pop out. common problem if you didnt respread or pay attention to the axle ring.

hope thats your problem... easy fix

Default Check mechanical

Yeah, I second the check the axle idea. Make sure that your transmission is tight to the block too, torque specs are important.

alright, im sure the torq specs are correct, the axle idea seems etrhical, ill check that first thing in the morning, Thanks, ill let you know how it goes

if its what 8m thinking of, unbolt the LCA . . . pull out hte tanny end of the acle, at the end theres a small ring that goes around the end of the axle in a groove . . . . i think to fix my problem i have the take plyers and expand it to make it lock . . . .
