Default JDM ZC SOHC

Hey, i've already searched this but came up with nothing. I swapped my old d15b7 for a jdm zc sohc a while ago and i'm going to be taking the car off the road this winter to start a few projects on it. I'm going to be rebuilding the engine but i'm just wondering if anyone knows which usdm engine the zc is comparable to for ordering parts. All that i've found so far is that it's similar to the d16a1's but with a more agressive cam. Just wondering if i should be ordering a rebuild kit for the d16a1? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

EVERYTHING from the D16Z6 is compatible with the JDM SOHC ZC VTEC. How do I know? I have one , just convince yourself that you have a D16Z6 and your good to go.

So much misinformation!

The JDM 92-95 ZC was the equivalent of the D16Z6

imo, run the p28 because i think the p08 is the d15b ecu.

Also, anybody know anything about the P27 ecu? I have it listed under

P27 : 92-95 OBD-1 EG JDM Civic 1600 sohc

When my motor blew i found a jdm importer that had a ZC sitting around. They wanted the same price for it as the d15b7 and it has something like 20-30 more horsepower, so i figured why not.

if you have a SOHC non vtec ZC, it's similar to the D16A6 in the 88-91 CRX/Civic Si.

It is very different than the D16A1 found in the 86-87 Integras
D16A1 = DOHC 1.6L 113HP
