I think it might work -- I wish I had the issue of Honda Tuning that talked about swapping tranny internals.

FWIW, the 05 RSX already has the same final drive ratio as the Si (either the EP3 or the FG2 Si's, for that matter).

I'm sorry, but I really do not know.

I know that the transmission from the CL7/CL9 is really very different from the transmissions in the EP3 and DC5.

I also know that almost all parts between the EP3 and DC5 transmissions are interchangeable. You can exchange the different final drives, the Torsen diffs, and even add the DC5 sixth gear to the EP3 transmission.

I also happen to know that the transmission from a CL7/CL9 will not even fit under the DC5 or EP3.

Why not just get the final drive and shaft from a 05 rsx-s (same as DC5R) and install in your car. Thats what I'm doing..

He's already got the countershaft and can get the EP's FD gear, he's just asking if they'll actually fit.

Thanks for actually reading my post, unlike most people. I just want to know if anyone knows for sure if the ep3 gear will work with a tsx counter shaft.
