okay just got a 1g eclipse turbo setup off a guy for $250 it included manifold, turbo with wastegate, o2 housing, oil line parts, intercooler, 450cc dsm injectors, and all the eclipse fuel system parts like fuel rail and hard lines. oh yeah and he also included brand new gaskets for the manifold to turbo and turbo to o2 housing. I plan on putting this settup on my 91 accord lx auto w/ f20a sohc. ill prolly go with a fmu for now till i get a chipped ecu. let me know what you guys think, i love to hear feedback!

heck, if just the turbo checks out (good center section bearings and seals), your off to a good start already.

I'd definitely get it rebuilt. With a used turbo like that, its really important. I'd do Hondata or Uberdata and skip over FMU, just wait till you have enough money to do the whole thing, otherwise it may just blow the motor....

the turbo feels really good no shaft play whatsoever spins smoothly and freely, no cracks in manifold or o2 housing. the only thing i fould bad was the wastgate was a little crushed but i think i can bend it back into place. I really do want to do uberdata, so ill have to look into getting a obd1 ecu, and chipping it. ill prolly get the injectors refurbished for $10 a piece. and ill have to make a good downpipe.

sounds like a good deal to me, i would expect to pay that much for that turbo itself in good condition. What kind of mileage are on the parts?

I admittedly don't know much about turbos and such, but I believe some people intentionally crush the wastegate to increase the psi before the wastegate opens. Kind of like going from 14psi to 16psi. I might be wrong though.
