Using a P28 on a B16 will cause it to run lean up top. Probably the same story on an H22. I wouldn't use one unless it is chipped for an H22.

P13's aren't that hard to find man.

They are worth $300.

Yeah, a P28 is a very bad idea IMO...

The p28 has no knock sensor, no sencondary intake runner control, the fuel maps are incompatible, and it's designed to drive saturated injectors. (While your 94 motor has peak and hold injectors...)

If you can find a P13 for $300, I would snap it up if I were you... The P13s usually sell for at least $350. They are very rare, and it is basically your only ECU choice since your injectors are peak and hold type...

Um, no. A P72 or P28 can be used to run p&h injectors just fine. There are way too many peole confused about this, get it straight!

I agree that there are a lot of people confused about this issue. But I don't believe that a saturated driver P72 or P28 should be used with peak and hold injectors...

According to TWM Induction: "Most peak and hold drivers will drive both high and low resistance injectors but, under no circumstances, should peak and hold injectors be driven with saturated drivers. " http://www.twminduction.com/EFI/EFIInjectors.html

Based on everthing I've ever read about this, an ECU designed to drive saturated injectors simply cannot meet the current requirements to reliably trigger peak and hold injectors for the entire pulsewidth. Sure you can place balast resistance in line to address the current differences. But a saturated injector draws a static current to trigger the injector and hold it open for a given duration. (It is basically a switch.) A Peak and hold injector, on the other hand, is triggered by a high current , but then is held open at a much lower current (10-20% of the max current). It's signal is a ramp formation while a saturated injectors' would look like a straight line.

A peak and hold injector driven by a saturated driver will give unpredictable fuel delivery. And the current draw on the driver can fry the ECU.

Almost everyone using Hondata for their boosted car uses p&h hold injectors with no problems.
