MSD Ignition and 2002 Accord
First off..
2002 Ex Accord 4DR 4cyl
About a year ago I bought a MSD SCI-L and a Blaster Coil 8202. I think I still need to buy better spark plug wires and possibly better spark plugs. However, I'm not 100% sure this is the stuff I need to change the ignition.
Secondly, someone mentioned to me the other day (not sure if this guy knows anything) that installing this will melt my heads??
Lastly, what should someone charge me to install this? I looked into installing it myself and it doesn't seem like something terribly difficulty to do. I actually think I need to buy another pin that connects to my ignition cap to connect the blaster coil?? Anyway, what should the install of this cost?
Thanks for any help.

.."melting the heads".... ...i didn't know that the four cylinder now come with more than 1 head.... lol
You just need to find the nicest spot to place your MSD.... most cars have it installed against the back of the engine, where the windshild begins, newt to intake manifold. And it is not that hard to install it... but... now that you gonna have more power going through the cables, you might as well upgrade them, and get something thicker... but... the tickest may not be the best.... ....btw.... the very best one should be called "nology wires" or somethink like that....

you do need to modify your disti cap w/ an additional "pin" to use the external coil.
install cost will depend on where you go. call around to some shops in your area.
and LOL @ melting the headS.
