Burning oil after 4000 RPM
I noticed that my Integra GSR is burning oil when I jump on it. It still pulls like a madman but when I'm above 4000 RPM's I smokes all the way to 9000 RPM's. At 4000 to 5000 the smoke is thicker than 6000 to 9000. Would this be bad valve seals? If I drive normal and stay under 4000 between oil changes very little oil is burned, but if I have been running it hard between oil changes I lose about 1 quart of oil. Need some help before I start replaceing seals and rings. Motor was sleeved and built by RS Machine 20,000 miles ago, so I figure that the rings are still good. Thanks.

judging by the fact that you posted in the "Integra" section and not the "Integra Type-R" section I am going to assume you have either an LS or GSR. In that case since neither car is supposed to go to 9k i will go ahead and say your piston rings are FUCKED. Time for motor pull apart and rebuild.
