Main and Rod bearings question.

Hey. Im rebuilding a mini-me with an A6 Bottom and Z6 head. My question is the bottom end even though I had no idea how many miles were on it seemed to be in pretty good shape. My machinist told me we didnt have to machine the crank, just a polish would suffice. Anyway since we did only polish that would mean stock sized Bearings again correct? Thanks...

Use stock bearings...

But, you are still going to measure everything out and plastigauge it right?
