hey, i noticed a while ago that when i hit the brakes the car shakes a bit. What is causing it to do this. is it the rotor. is there anyway i can tell if its the front or rear? i really cant afford to change both front and rear rotors now??????

 

You're rotors are warped, go get new ones! I did the same thing to my civic...It feels like abs is on 24-7

U only need the front. Your rotors have to be cut (resurfaced). Depending on how much rotor material you have left you may or may not need to get new ones. If you need new breaks i would get them done at the same time.

 

rotors are warped.. you could opt to have them turned to make them tru/straight again.. but this takes off material.. so when it happened to me i just opted to get new rotors and pads (pads needed changing too on mine)..
