are you using 96 h22 injectors or 97 and up injectors.

you are going to need to get a 96 p13 which I have heard is very hard to find. you can keep the same dizzy I believe. you want to use 345cc injectors so either the 94 h22a injectors. the 97 and up injectors dont use a resistor box.

I think that's the problem right there. OBDII P13's only came in 96.

I don't know if the 96 wire harness is different from 97+ H22's, but I would think you need to change the following on your engine to make it OBDII:

Oil pump
ECU
Intake manifold

It seems like it would be easier to convert the motor to 97+ H22 spec.

the obd2 p13 is only from 96

97+ are p5m and p5p...they use an immobilizer, and will not work in your car...

good luck finding a 96 p13....its probably as rare as a ctr ecu...or rarer....i tried, believe me, i have the exact same setup...

it seems that you will need an obd2 knock sensor or it will throw codes, but im not sure....

as long as you did the wiring for the tdc/cyp sensors right it will be ok otherwise, or i should say i assume it will....but you can never say for sure....i dont know if 96 used saturated injectors or p&h....i would be willing to bet p&h, so 345cc should be the size, like the rest of the 4th gen vtec...

get an ecu and then come back if you have problems, and good luck

if he wired the tdc/ckp wires up to the jdm dizzy, which has those sensors inside, he wont need to change the oil pump, because the reason for that is that the obd1 motor has the sensors inside the dizzy, and the obd2 has them at the pump...the sensors themselves are the same, just located differently....

all you have to do is make a little jumper harness to go from the engine harness' plug down by the oil pump to go up to the dizzy, and get an 8 pin connector, a few soldiers and its done....mine looks factory....

the ek/eg civic/h22 hybrid thread in the hybrid forum has all the wiring info necessary....

(this is all if you need to do this bb4)

also, i have yet to discover why the IM must be changed, i dont remember keith's writeup...im gonna go look now and ill be back for an edit

yea im using the jdm dizzy so all that should be fine then, so all that would be needed is a obd2 p13 ecu then.

quick question: obd1 ecus have 3 plugs and obd2 ecus have 4 plugs correct? the 4th plug on obd2 ecus is for shops/inspeciton stations to plug into?
