Displaying wideband on narrowband gauge
will one of the analog outs from a innovate LC-1, when programed accordingly, display accurate afr on a narrowband gauge??
I understand that an (well autometer, and probally alot of others) A/F gauge has 20 segments corresponding from 20.0:1 to 10.0:1, so that would be a resolution of 0.5:1 afr.
Im not planing on using a narrowband gauge to be a tunning substitute but a semi accurate way to montor afr when not dataloging.
also would this be any different than using the plx wide-narrowband converter(with a plx wideband and narowband gauge).
really what i want to do is use the apexi TT afr option to monitor, and also with it i could use O2 voltage reading and have an even better resolution than 0.5:1.
Does anyone one do this that could comment?

no you need a wideband controller the wideband o2 sensor reading are not liner. the controller makes it liner, I think...
my idea is that the lc-1 can have its analog outs be programmed to display user defined Vdc and AFR, so use this "scaled down" afr to display on a narrowband gauge...in my case the apexi TT, dont know if it will be very accurate but i think ill try it and compare it to what i get from datalogging

If your bold to try... You can make a led display by yourself... I found this link way back when... It looks pretty cool... http://members.tripod.com/~foz....html Though, I haven't tried the display yet.... I did try the digital tach as described in the link. And It works.
