Exhaust question
I know 92 up civic exhaust for the coupe and sedan are supposed to be the same, but I was told 96-98 DX exhaust was a different length. Due to the down pipe being the cat. Since the LX has the same motor as the DX is the exhaust a different length than an EX's? Basically I have a 92 4dr EX atm and I'm buying a 97 LX and want to know if the exhaust will fit or not. If not I just need to buy a test pipe right? So far I've been told to use a EX header and everything should be good, but won't I still need a cat or test pipe? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
Already have an exhaust. Right now we have 92 EX 4dr with exhaust. I'm going to be selling that car with a stock exhaust and keep the aftermarket one. We are buying a 97 LX from my sister. Since my girl likes the exhaust she wants to know what we need to put it on the new car. Since shes preggo atm it's easier to try and find out what it takes to fit iton the new car. Also saving the money on the exhaust will be nice atm since shes about to pop any day now.
