Default shift ****

i got a short shifter and when i put the shift **** on its backwards. how do i fix that?

you could try to wrap some teflo tape on the last threads so it will tighten a little sooner.

Or sell that **** and get one that does not have numbers on it.....

then sell the **** and get the ones were you can stick the pattern on the shift console. besides how hard is it to remember..

get the spoon one like me then you can tighten the **** down and put the 12345R stick on after.

get a nut and put it on first then the shift ****, tighten the shift **** to where you want it the tighten the nut to the shift **** to lock it in place, kind of like a jam nut

this nut comes with all quality shift *****...came with my skunk2 10th anniversary ****

how the hell does it help? what do you look down every time you shift? i would say maybe for looks but thats about all. its not like anything changes or moves. its the same ol everytime.

i had a similar prob with my skunk2 ****. when turned all the way (didn't want to use locking nut) numbers would point in a angle like this- / upside down. i used a tap and tapped as far down as i could. there is a lip @ the bottom of the thread which should stop the tap from moving further. this gave me about 3/4 turn more on the **** which placed the numbers straight and centered.
