My emergency handle button is really messed up. Ever since I got my car it has been like this and really bugging me. I know it shouldn't be like this so how do I fix it. I took it apart and looked at it and couldn't find out how. Its always a pain to get it in and hurts my fingers.... it also look freaking ugly please HT help me so I can continue to PIMP my ride.

 

How do you get it to release and go back down once you have it up? If it's assetics only you could drop a pencil with a piece of sticky tape on the end and pull up. If there isn't a lot of resistance anyways. Otherwise just go to a junkyard and replace your handle. That's cheap and simple enough.

 

i think you just hit the handle back in until the button comes out again. im not sure though

it probably just needs to be pushed back?

 

Its not stuck like that it just is that low I think I might try to hit my handle part to get the button to come out farther. Its just a pain.
