92-95 Si Speaker brackets.
I recently got a 92 civic VX and I am trying to install some speakers in the back. I have a picture of the brackets I just need to make sure those are the right ones. Can anybody let me know what all I have to buy?

ive got a 93si and no rear speakers, i was like wtf, where are they, i popped out the rear cover panels on the rear large panel where like the seatbelt goes behind, ran some wire from behind the dash under the carpet, then just mounted them strait to the plastic with the little black metal clips that come with the speaker. just roto ziped some holes off the templets, if someone would tell me how to post pics, i will, it actally looks pretty badass and sounds good

those brackets hold 6 1/2s not 5 1/4s. If your front doors have 5 1/4s you can also get ex/si front door plates that will hold 6 1/2s. then you'll have 6 1/2s all the way around. also if you get those rear brackets the si came with different inner quarter panel inserts that has a speaker grill in it, to replace the solid one that came in hatches without rear speakers. hope this helps.

also unless your going to use the factory rear speakers or the honda optional equipment speakers(pioneer) you can go to best buy and get the metra harnesses ($5.99) that plug into the factory speaker wire thats in the quarter panel, then you dont have to cut/splice/t-tap/schotlock/tape/solder or anything else, just plug em in.

You don't need to buy the si brackets to install 6 1/2's in the front. All you have to do is cut the back out of the plastic cups that hold the speakers and then they bolt right up. This is what most stereo install shops do.
