okay heres the problem if i step on the clutch it goes to the floor and stays dere. i have to pull it up if i want it to go back up. there is no pressure whatsoever. i have already change the master and the slave cylinder. what else could it be? clogged lines? booster problem? or just a bad clutch. help plz.

 

So there's no pressure. Does the clutch actually engage? Did you bleed the clutch? I assume you bled the lines after you changed the master/slave cylinder, right?

Clutches, in my experience, are very weird to bleed. Sometimes, it takes a few minutes of pumping the clutch, sometimes it takes several hours. Sometimes, no matter how long you do it, you need a power bleeder.

Have you tried using a power bleeder? They always work after a few minutes, when the "easy way" doesn't work.

 

yeah there is no pressure at all and yes i bleeded the clutch. but i have no idea wha to do next.

 

Well, you are either leaking somewhere, or you have air in the lines somewhere. Did you use a power bleeder?

Like I said, clutches are strange. Sometimes it works easy and fast. Sometimes you need a power bleeder and lots of time.

Why are you bumping this? Did you answer, "Did you use a power bleeder?" Because, if not, then you probably still have air in your lines. 50% of the time, regular pumping of the pedal/adding fluid will NOT work.

There is no other explanation. There is either a leak somewhere or you have air in the lines.

 

bleed it.. check it repeat.. check again.. bleed some more.. then when ur sure its ok .. bleed that **** one more time.. sometimes the hydraulic system doest cooperate.. there could be a leak in the lines.. did u accidently press the clutch pedal down while the slave was off the trans...

 

sometimes when you are bleeding it, you run out of fluid in the reservoir before you even know it. so check it every time you bleed it. and like shamoo said, a power bleeder will work best, cuz thats what its made to do
