hey wasup guys im a newbie here...anyone living in the LA area knows of any reputable race shops...i have a 99 si that i'm planning on rebuilding the b16 motor and dropping a supercharger in...right now I only know JERRY BUILT RACING and they're a pretty good shop...any help would be great thanks....PS. if anyone has a vortech supercharger in their si what do you guys think of it?

 

i live here in l.a. what do you exactly want done in the rebuild ? i have a few buds that rebuild and they rebuilt my b16a. if you bring the parts, they will rebuild probably about $700 - $800 besides $200 for the machine work. Overall in just labor including machine work about $1000. what part of l.a. ???

 

what i want done to the rebuild is...

FIRST WITH THE HEAD: port & polished, 3 angle valve job, polish chamber, milled head

THEN BLOCK: bore & Hone, hot tank, Deck, balance and micro polish crank shaft, balanced and blueprinted

DOES NOT INCLUDE COMPLETE PART REPLACEMENTS LIKE PISTONS..ETC

it doesnt really matter what part LA...as long as the shops are good...not those fakes ones...thanks
