Default new key

where can i get a new key made for my 1994 accord lx. the key i have is really worn down and it doesnt like to to work all the time. can i get a new key through a honda dealer, or do i have to go out and get one made. any feedback would be appreciated

you can get one through the dealer. that's the only place i'd go to get a good spare

i went to wal-mart to get spares for my 94 lx.

they work just fine.

Dealer is mandatory for all keys 98 and later..... but you could get one cut anywhere. I would go to the dealer though, because they will cut a NEW key... not a copy of the worn out one you have.

exactly the point.

he's not trying to make a copy of his already good key. his key is **** and he needs a new one. not a replica of his **** key

thank you ADVAN EG2. i guess i dint make it realy clear. my bad. the key i have is crap and i need a new one made. one that is brand new.
