Default Need help installing ignition box and coil (already tried to search)

I have a 5th gen Prelude and did a search but everything came up for the 4th Gen or JDM H22 with internal coil. As we all know the H22A4 come factory with an external coil. I'm upgrading using a Crane Came Ignition box HI-6S and Crane
Came coil. The only question i have is that the red and white wire from the box. Where do they go onto the distributor?

Thank you for your time and help.

instructions are given with products in order to guide you through installation...

how about you talk to crane....they wouldnt release a product and depend on you to figure out what wire goes where...

I've purchase the product from a private seller. So no box or installation manual. What I can remember is that there were five wires from the distributor. Green, Black with Yellow stripe, Gray, White or Yellow could make out the difference, and a White or Yellow with Green stripe. Trying to figure out which one goes to the red and white on the box.

thanks

Don't even use it, IMO. It will do nothing and it will cause you more problems.

i sometimes get upset that some people are so bad at using the resources available to them...people that had to figure all this **** out before the internet would be offended....

I searched on crane and the part number for the ignition box didn't match up with mine. and the illustration and wiring are different than mine. my OEM coil have one plug not two. and was never a internal coil before as said in instructions. also the colors that they show on there should be on the oem side was not even on my car.

thank you

Identify the two plugs on the Honda/Acura O.E. coil.
Connect the HI-6S as shown. Use terminals and wire
supplied in the parts bag. Note that some O.E. coils
have only a single plug.
Identify wires and connect similar
to Figure 10. Most vehicles use blue color code for
module output and tach connection to Coil- terminal
and black-yellow color code for switched +12 volt
power connection to Coil+ terminal. Connect all blue
wires from O.E. harness to white HI-6S trigger wire.
Connect yellow HI-6S Coil- wire to Coil- terminal.
Connect red HI-6S switched +12 volt wire to Coil+ terminal
and all O.E. black-yellow wires.

well i was skeptical about it becasue when i downloaded the instruction off of the crane webstie. the part number on it didn't match up with mine. i have the part number 6000-6343 and it wasn't on there. the link to click it was on there. but after the page came up my part number was not on the head title. and i dont wanna mess anything up just to run a simple ignition box. i figure somone have one on a fifth gen and could look at their vehicle and just tell me which goes to which. i'm just want to do it right the first time. that all

i guess you should call them up and clear up any confusion you have. Or wait and see if someone who's done it happens to see your thread, which might never happen.
