new motor installed but with problems
hi,
I finished installing a built a6 into my 99cx but am having some problems. the car idles decent but when you would try and drive it would surge and bogs around 1500-2000 then throws an oxygen sensor code1. so I switched to my wideband now I get fuel supply system code.I've heard this can be caused by alot of different things. I installed a new fuel filter with the swap along with other genreal matinence items. it's using stock injectors and fpr. I've gone over my electrical connections and everything looks good. now when the car starts it's around 14 a/f.when driving very light on the throttle a/f jumpes to like 17-18 then will slowly come down to where it is suppossed to be. but if I drive the car normally (not light on the throttle) the car goes 17-18af but won't richen up quick enough and it will hesitate/bog and then throw a cel. when the stock o2 sensor is in I get code 1 (primary oxygen sensor). with the wideband in (I get fuel supply problem code)and once it trips a cell the car runns supper rich like 19-23 a/f.somthing is causing it to lean out like crazy but I'm not sure what. I definatly don't wann run the car when it's going lean
any help would be appriciated.
Thanks,
B

hmmm.... I'm getting no where the car is still running lean and gets the lean miss at idle. I can't figure out what the problem is. car looked like the following,
built a6
ported/polished head
zex stage2 cam and springs
stock p28
stock injectors
stock rail and stock fpr
taper bore TB
venom intake manifold with remote mount iacv
I've tried switching some things up to make things simpler,
swapped venom intake back to stock a6 mani effect: idles nicer but that's about it still runs rich.
swapped around 2 different rails and fprs (stock y8 rail and fpr) and (str rail and teg fpr) no difference still runs rich. tried switching my stock p28 for my po6 with hondata s300. idles perfect but even leaner then stock p28, a/f @idle is 18.
I checked for vac leaks and checked fuel pressure from the pump all seems fine. only thing I haven't tried swapping is the injectors, they worked good on my old motor though
any one have any other ideas on what I should check?
I'm loosing alot of sleep over this
