98 LX + Neuspeed + Blues + 16's = The blues!
Have 98 LX 4dr 5sp 4cyl, got the Neuspeed Sport springs, Tokico Blues, all fine except needed camber kit. Put that and a new set of 16" 50 series Kumhos on, and getting scrape on bumps from wheelwell hitting the tires in rear. The shop bent part of the wheelwell up, it's better, but still have scraping on real good bumps.
Now what...get some Tokico whites or better the Konis? Or do I need to do something different. Love the lower ride.
Thanx, and I tried the same topic over in suspension, but wanted to try you guys.

i dont see how new struts would help rubbing, unless you are trying stiffen them up to lessen the shock travel?? i still think you would have problems, and have a harsh ride at that....perhaps too much offset on the wheel?
I further back the above arguments... ^^^
My '99 is on Neuspeed Sports, Tokico Illuminas, and 17" rims, 7.5" wide, with no rubbing. And my rear camber is nearly 0 degrees.

B/c you don't know, and you seek information.
What kind of rims do you have? Maybe we could figure out the off set from there.

i believe the offset is usually stamped somewhere on the inside of the rim. you'd have to take the rim off and look for a the number, possibly on a spoke. for example, +45.
**EDIT**
I'm assuming you have aftermarket rims, based on the size of your tire. The car would have come from the factory w/ 15" steelies. But just to make sure you don't have Honda alloys:
Do you have aftermarket rims, or Honda rims?

Aftermarket, 16x7 ICW03. ICW Racing is what's on the wheel, made in China. Put a pic if ya like.
Btw, when I said earlier I come here for answers, I meant that's why I come, cuz u guyz know and I learn. I wasn't being impatient/disrespectful.

If it were me I would go back to the tire shop and see if they will swap the tires you have for some with slightly smaller width or a slightly smaller sidewall and that should take care of the rubbing for the most part. If they won't do that then you could try rolling the lip of the fender all the way in order to clear the wider tires. It sounds like they did it a little bit from your description, but if you have it done the whole way it might help even more.
Hokay, will see what they say, what zackly is rolling the lip...what they've done so far is to bend up part of the lip...sounds like a more complete job.
looking at the fender from inside the wheel well ur fender is 90 degrees. this might sound f*%&#$ but looking at ur car from the outside u cant see it but lookin underneath u will see a flat surface. what rolling the fenders means is getting rid of that flat surface by "folding it up" or grinding it down (which from what ive seen doesnt work as well). this allows for a wider tire/rim set/ multiple offsets . hope this helps some. i can take pics if need be.
