Default Gsr Cluster Problem

as ya kno i did my swap just got my cluster in from a 95 gsr. Everything is pluged in perfect and i start the car and the rpm shoots up to 5k and speedometer to 20mph. Also my gas is a little off, but not that big of a deal (i never let it go too low that i have to worry) Any input on how to fix the needles? The jump when i rev the car and drive. So its just the placement that is off. I tried searching with no definite results. Thanks

Often, cluster maladies can be solved by using the film from the original cluster on the new one. Being that it came out of a 95 and your car is a 95 there should be no issues, but there's always that odd possibility.

Do they ever fail to function? i.e. does your speedo ever drop to zero while driving? If so your speed sensor may be dirty, happened to me with my del sol. Give that a cleaning and see if it clears anything up.
