Default b15 vtech or b16a

my friend has a sketchy d15 its a sohc that he bought that was in an eg it runs and everything and all that it needs i have in my car already. he said he would sell it to me for 300 and it has a cold air intake and crappy headers so i was thinking about getting some new headers and maybe get it cleaned and crap... the sketchy part about the motor is that it was dead even with a b17a in my friends integra that also tied with a b18c integra so this motor is not slow at all........
my question is should i go with that or should i save save save for a b16a and parts
the downer about the b16 is that it is allot for me and it needs allot of crap like motor mounts and ob1 to ob2 and more stiff like that to fit in my 1997ek hatch
now i know that allot of people have asked the same question but probably not the same scenario.
let me know what you think

Did you see this freak motor run or are these just stories?

I wouldn't belive it in a second if its 2nd hand esp if its just intake and as you said your self crappy headers.

You ever play that game telephone in grade school where you tell someone a story and by the time it gets to the last person, its all f***ed up and nowhere near what it was supposed to be.

Thats this engine.

Way to expletive up the thread, loser. This kid's trying to get some help/advice and then there's you.

As for the original thread poster, you're probably better off saving up for a good B-series motor. It'll probably make you happier in the long run

Just remember that power to weight ratio could have had a lot more to do with those stories than you might have thought.
