Default auto tensioner question..buying new one?

i need to replace the tensioner in my 99 h22a4 thats in my EG.

i'm still debating which way to go..manual or auto...car will probably keep the stock valvetrain for a while....right now..just normal bolt-ons I/H/E, etc..

trying to do the easiest job right now..
if i go auto tensioner route....what do i need to buy, I saw a tread that talked about a kit....does that come with everything needed & do dealers carry them? or should i pre-order?

just trying to get all my info together so i can do one or the other this weekend.

thanks

i did some research and went with the auto myself. i found out that honda re-designed them so they don't break, like the old ones are rumored to. i looked into the manual conversion, and everything would have cost me way more, and it was gonna take like 5-6 days for everything to arrive (dealership didn't have any of the parts in stock).

If I were you I would do it right the first time. Get the parts to convert to a manual timing belt tensioner. Do it now and you will never have to worry about it again. Plus, if it fails you will ruin the head. Not worth the risk IMO.
