30% or 35% rear tint for 4-door gsr?
I was thinking about tinting my window for my 4-door gsr. What % tint should I ask the shop to use? The 35% still look light....how about 30%? Is that better?

Here's my friend's Civic, he just got 20% on the back and back sides, and 35% on the door windows... surprisingly it's not that big of a difference.
I have about 30%on my back doors and back window, and its real dark. Can hardly see in. Although it does suck when the sun is shining on the drivers side. The contrast between the too keeps me from seeing through my back window. Still looks good.....

I have 35% on my back windows and it is great during the day. Sucks at night tho cause I cant see anything when I'm backin up unless theres lights behind me.
Let's take this for example, so during the day, when there is sun. Will the 35% tint allow others to see through the tinited windows? How about the 30%? I guess I'm leaning toward the 30% tint since 35% might be a little too dark.

I have 35% in the back window and side "trangle windows." It's not too dark and not too light. It's perfect and looks much better than the stunnas who drive around with really dark 5% tint. You can see out, both in daylight and at night. The back of the car is kinda dark already, so it gives the illusion that it's darker. So if you look in quickly, you might not see people sitting in the back.

Well, I have 35% on the side windows and 20% on the rear quarter and rear window.
Since the front windshield isn't tinted (and shouldn't be
) the light that comes in from the front enables people to see through the 35% on the sides whether it is day or night. You know what I mean? Of coarse at night it's alot less visible, but still visible nontheless.
I'd suggest going somewhere between 25~30% all around. Honestly, the 35% on my side windows were way to light for my taste. And there was a big difference between the side windows and the rear quarter windows which looks weird.
