I *WILL* have the CRX at this one. I told my mechanic that I'm picking it up on Thursday night whether it is done or not. I have to see if the braking and suspension problems are worked out before I take it to Lime Rock in two weeks.

There are loaner helmets there. Are you actually in Boston, MA? That's a long drive you know
Oh ok
Right across the river then.
I'll be in car #219 Blue Honda Civic Si. I might seem busy but just stop by our pop up tent. There will be a Blue WRX, Yellow ITR, Blue Ford Focus with us.

Just to comment on the "poor college student" statement...
For under $100 you can go to a motorcycle dealership and pick up a helmet made by HJC. Their products are all D.O.T 95 and 2000 certified and represent a real good value for the money. Not to mention all the creepy crawlies that go from one persons head to yours!!!
Seriously though, I paid my own way through school and still set aside the financial resources to buy the equipment I needed.

I have an old balaclava thing that I can give to our poor college student friend. Yeah, it's been on my head, but I shower on a regular basis - at least once or twice a month.
I'll be the extremely subtle blue CRX with the huge *** reflective #33 on the side of it, sponsor info, and all the honda-challenge stickers.

Just remember we all started out that way. I remember the first time I went out I thought I was going pretty fast - then the instructor took over and I just about peed in my pants
Autocross or any motorsports is a learning curve - you get better the more times you do it.

The course will be a bit quieter this weekend (and the next event) as I won't be bringing my "loud" michelins there.. I'm otherwise engaged for 2 out of the 3 last Camden events..
Yeah this is my last event for the Phily Region. I'm booked every weekend until June'ish. UGH!
April 6th falls on my black belt class and I need to go since I will hopefully be testing for my 4th DAN this year.
James - What setup do you have now? Race tires finally?
are you going to the Evo school?
