Default GSR block with b16 head

i wonder how this set up wwould be, a gsr block with b16 head and b16 pistons, would it run faster then a GSR? how about a GSR with b16 pistons?

Running a gsr block with b16 pistons and a gsr head is better than running a b16 head.

Because a gsr head has smaller combustion chambers. You'll get more compression out of it. Just don't use the stock gsr intake manifold(sucks) and you'll have a better setup.

I would just work with what you already have, which I am assuming that it is the GSR right? You can build and tune your B18c and make more power that way. This is the route I would take because you could do anything with any motor pending your budget.

Agreed. Stick with the P72 head for compression reasons ang get a better intake manifold. Only problem is that the P72 A0 pistons in the GS-R block are terrible. They have no dome. 10.0:1 compression ratio sucks for making N/A power.

yep.

you'll bump up the compression with those pistons.
